        Hypex DIGin3-322 Digital Input Expansion Module for DSP3 Series

         

        The Hypex DIGin3-322 expands DSP3 based audio designs with direct digital audio input functionality. It is designed for systems where digital sources are routed straight into the DSP, reducing the need for external digital to analogue conversion. This makes it a practical upgrade for compact DSP modules and DSP controlled audio systems.

         

        Connectivity includes AES input and output, SPDIF input and output, and an optical input. The optical input supports sample rates up to 96 kHz, while SPDIF and AES support up to 192 kHz. With low jitter operation, a digital input signal-to-noise ratio of -111 dB and digital input distortion of -100 dB, the DIGin3-322 is built for precise digital signal handling.

         

        The module integrates with Hypex DSP3-213 and DSP3-224 units and is configured through Hypex Filter Design software. Supported sample rates include 32, 44.1, 48, 88.2, 96 and 192 kHz, with a digital latency of 1.8 ms at 96 kHz. The SRC4382 sample rate converter helps maintain reliable digital audio integration across compatible system designs.

         

        Typical applications include high-end consumer audio, active speakers, subwoofers, PA systems, studio monitors and DSP based designs with digital sources.
