        45 days reflection period at SoundImports 

        SoundImports always strives for high customer satisfaction. If you are not satisfied with your product or the product turns out to be faulty? Then we are happy to offer you three options:

        1.  Ask us for help or technical support.
        2.  You can exchange your products.
        3.  You can choose to receive a refund.

        How does the right of withdrawal work?

        You can easily notify us by e-mail or in writing to revoke the contract. If you choose written please use the SoundImports return form. To comply with the withdrawal period, it is sufficient to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

        Our return process

        You are not obliged to use the model withdrawal form. If you decide to return your order, please follow the next steps:

        1.  Contact our customer service or via e-mail and include your name and order number in the email. 
        2.  You will receive return instructions from our customer service by e-mail.
        3.  You can send your order/return to the following address within 14 days:

        You have the right to withdraw from the contract within a period of 45 days, without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires 45 days after the day on which you or a third party designated by you, other than the carrier, takes physical possession of the goods. You shall bear the direct (shipping) costs of returning the goods. As soon as we have received the order, we will evaluate your return and inform you by e-mail.

        When can I return my product?

        At SoundImports, you may withdraw from the purchase within 45 days if you received the product less than 45 days ago. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the use of the goods beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods. We may therefore charge you for the reduction in value.

        Frequently asked questions/FAQ

        Q:  What exactly is the return period, 14 or 45 days?
        A:  You have a 45-day cooling-off period. Once you have notified your return (within these 45 days), you still have 14 calendar days for the correct return.

        Q:  In case of a defect, will I always get a new article?
        A:  After a technical assessment by our specialists, we check whether the article can be repaired. If not, we will send you a new product by return, provided the defect is not the result of improper use.

        Q:  What is the warranty period for SoundImports?
        A:  On all articles we give at least a 2-year warranty, on Dayton Audio & SoundImpress articles we give a 5-year warranty.

        Q:  Can I contribute to a smooth settlement myself?
        A:  Yes, it helps us enormously if you always state your order number, which always starts with ORDxxxxxxx. Feel free to write this on the shipping box as well.

        Q:  Should the item's original packaging remain intact?
        A:  Please keep the article's packaging intact wherever possible and do not write or stick (brown) tape on it.
        Always use an extra shipping box on which you can write and stick.

        Q:  What happens if an item is damaged during return?
        A:  In the case of a return, you are responsible for shipping it correctly. Pack well where necessary and always keep your proof of posting.

        Q:  How quickly do you process my return?
        A:  At SoundImports, we process all our shipments, both outbound and return, on a daily basis. After our employee has processed your return in the warehouse, there may be some administrative work to be done, usually we complete everything within 3 working days.

        Consequences of withdrawal

        If you withdraw from this contract, we shall refund to you all payments made by you up to that time, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw. If you only return a part of your order, the delivery charges will not be refunded. We will refund you using the same method of payment you used to make the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; no charges will be made for such refunds. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest. You shall return the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay, and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your decision to withdraw from the contract to us. You are in time if you return the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You shall only be liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the use of the goods beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

        Please follow these steps carefully to ensure smooth processing of your warranty request.

        The manufacturer will assess the defective product and determine whether it will be repaired or replaced under warranty.
        You will be kept informed of the progress of the process. We strive to notify you within 14 days after receipt
        This may involve repair, replacement or (partial) refund of the purchase.
