The SoundImpress HY52-2CH is a compact four-channel NCORE® amplifier delivering 50 watts per channel into 4 ohms, powered by Hypex NC52MP technology and housed in an aluminum quad-channel enclosure.
SoundImpress HY52-4CH Quad NCORE® Class D amplifier 4 x 50 W into 4 ohm
The SoundImpress HY52-4CH combines two Hypex NC52MP amplifier modules into a practical four-channel amplifier for high-quality multi-channel playback. Each NC52MP module integrates a high-efficiency switch-mode power supply and two NCORE® Class D amplifier channels in a compact design, making this model suitable for demanding home, studio and active loudspeaker applications.
Performance is built around NCORE® technology, with a flat, fully load-independent frequency response, very low output impedance and frequency-independent low distortion. The amplifier delivers 50 W per channel into 4 ohms, 25 W per channel into 8 ohms and is specified with a typical THD+N of 0.002%. A signal-to-noise ratio of 115 dB and a frequency response of 10 Hz to 50 kHz support clean, accurate reproduction across the audible range and beyond.
The internal architecture uses integrated Hypex amplifier modules with universal mains input from 100 to 240 Vac. The NC52MP design includes a low-power standby supply, main SMPS, advanced over-current protection, amplifier mute, clip indication, DC-error monitoring and power-good status. This makes the HY52-2CH a compact yet technically complete quad-channel power amplifier platform.
The aluminum 4-channel enclosure provides a robust and thermally effective housing for the amplifier assembly. It uses four XLR inputs and four pairs of gold-plated binding posts, with an AC inlet, power switch, internal harnessing and front LED integration. The case construction features thick aluminum panels and ventilation, supporting reliable operation while keeping the amplifier clean and installation-friendly.
