        Seas Prestige 19TFF1 - H0737 3/4" Textile Dome Tweeter

         

        19mm High Fidelity dome tweeter with extremely smooth and extended frequency response. Precoated Sonotex fabric diaphragm and suspension allows for very tight production tolerances and high consistency.

        Injection molded chassis in high grade glass fiber reinforced plastic keeps the moving parts in perfect alignment and provides good coupling to the cabinet. Voice coil windings immersed in magnetic fluid increase short term power handling capacity and reduce the compression at high power levels.

        This tweeter is great value for money. Not only the frequency response is smooth, but also the sound of it, with no sense of harshness. I have bought a pair of these as replacements for the original ones in a set of Mission 761 speakers. Together with the HiVi D6.8B mid/woofer, they are a good match for my first DIY project of (re)building my own speakers. It would be great, if there were more info on the model, like the T/S parameters Qes, Qms and Vas.
