        The Hypex NC250MP 1x250W Amp Board is a compact, mains-powered NCORE® Class D amplifier board with an integrated high-efficiency SMPS and standby supply. It delivers one 250 W channel into 4 ohms and is built for active loudspeakers, power amplifiers, studio monitors and subwoofer systems.

        Hypex NC250MP 1 x 250 W NCORE® Class D amplifier module with on-board SMPS

         

        The NC250MP is an all-in-one mains-powered NCORE® Class D amplifier module that combines a low-power standby supply, a regulated high-efficiency SMPS and one high-performance amplifier channel on a single compact PCB. Its universal mains input automatically switches between 115 V and 230 V operation, making it practical for a wide range of international audio designs.

         

        For audio performance, the NC250MP is designed for high-quality power amplifiers and active systems where low distortion, low output impedance and predictable load behaviour matter. It delivers 1 x 250 W into 4 ohms, has a 20 Hz to 35 kHz power bandwidth and a frequency response up to 50 kHz with +0/-3 dB behaviour across loads. Output noise is specified at 40 µV, with a signal-to-noise ratio of 121 dB.

         

        This module is well suited to studio monitor loudspeakers, active speakers, public address systems, home theatre systems and subwoofer systems. This model is also used in SoundImpress. Protection functions include advanced overcurrent protection, excessive DC protection, short-circuit protection and over-temperature protection.

         

        Integration is straightforward thanks to H-Box and H-Bus connectors, a loudspeaker connector, AC input connector, clip indication, mute control, power-good indication and temperature readout. The Hypex Channel Extension connector can be used with a compatible low-power tweeter amplifier channel, and matching cables and evaluation accessories are available for system development. Because this board operates at mains voltage, installation must be carried out with proper safety clearances, insulation and thermal management.
