Hypex NC122MP 2 x 125 W mains powered NCORE® Class D amplifier module with on-board SMPS
The Hypex NC122MP is an all-in-one amplifier module that combines a low-power standby supply, a highly efficient regulated switch mode power supply and two self-contained NCORE® Class D amplifier channels on a single PCB assembly. Its compact construction makes it well suited for active loudspeaker systems, studio monitors, public address systems and audiophile power amplifier projects.
Each channel delivers up to 125 W into 4 ohms, 115 W into 2 ohms and 75 W into 8 ohms. In BTL configuration, the NC122MP can deliver up to 200 W into 4 ohms or 250 W into 8 ohms, with 8 ohms or higher recommended for bridged use. The amplifier design keeps frequency response flat across loads, offers very low output impedance and maintains consistent distortion performance across the audio band.
The integrated power architecture supports automatic 115/230 V mains switching and includes a 5 W standby SMPS that meets low standby consumption requirements. With its Hypex Channel Extension connector, the module can be expanded with an additional low-power tweeter amplifier channel, making it practical for multi-way active speakers and compact DSP-controlled system designs.
The NC122MP is designed for use in high-quality amplifiers and active audio systems where efficiency, low noise and predictable performance are important. This module is also used in SoundImpress models.
