The Mundorf LL45-2,2 is part of the MCoil LL AirCore Hepta Strand series, built for demanding passive speaker filter designs. With a 2.2 mH inductance, ±2% tolerance and 0.66 Ohm DC resistance, it is a precise choice for quality crossover components where consistent electrical values matter.
Its air-core design avoids the use of a magnetic core and uses OFC-copper Hepta Strand conductor material. The conductor has a 1.11 mm² cross section, equivalent to 17 AWG, with a 1.19 mm wire diameter. This construction is intended for refined high and mid frequency applications with detailed musical reproduction.
The LL45-2,2 uses baked winding fixation for a stable mechanical build. This helps keep the winding secure in practical loudspeaker crossover assemblies, while the L7728 coil body and Ø77 x H28 mm dimensions make it straightforward to position on a crossover board.
