The LL45-1,0 belongs to Mundorf’s MCoil LL AirCore Hepta Strand series, a line of high grade crossover components made for quality high and mid frequency applications. Its OFC-copper Hepta Strand conductor and air-core construction are aimed at finely detailed, refined musical reproduction with a holographic, live-like presentation.
With 1.0 mH inductance, ±2% tolerance and 0.42 Ohm DC resistance, this coil gives crossover builders a precise value for tuning filter sections. The 17 AWG wire features a 1.11 mm² cross-section and 1.19 mm conductor specification, providing a robust winding for demanding signal paths.
The baked winding fixation helps the coil maintain its form, while the L5828 body keeps dimensions compact at Ø58 x H28 mm. This makes the LL45-1,0 straightforward to place on a crossover board where layout space and component placement need to be controlled.
