The Mundorf LL45-0,39 belongs to the MCoil LL AirCore Hepta Strand series, designed for demanding audio filtering where fine detail and refined musical reproduction matter. As part of a high-quality selection of coils, it is especially suited to high and mid frequency applications.
Its 0.39 mH inductance, tight ±2% tolerance and 0.24 Ohm DC resistance make it a precise choice for carefully tuned passive networks. The air-core construction avoids core saturation effects, making it a reliable component for transparent, low-distortion crossover components in quality loudspeaker builds.
The conductor is made from OFC-copper in Mundorf’s Hepta Strand configuration, with a 1.11 mm² wire cross-section, AWG 17 rating and 1.19 mm wire specification. This construction is intended to support finely detailed reproduction with a holographic, live-like presentation in suitable crossover positions.
With compact Ø58 x H18 mm dimensions, baked winding fixation and an L5818 coil body, the LL45-0,39 is straightforward to integrate into custom crossover layouts. It is a practical upgrade or design component when you need a precise air-core inductor with Mundorf’s Hepta Strand conductor technology.
