Mundorf H50-8,2 8.2 mH Ferrite/Aronit DrumCore Coil 1.57 Ω ±3% 24 AWG
The Mundorf H50-8,2 is part of the MCoil H ferrite/Aronit drum-core series, designed for use as a precision inductor in passive loudspeaker filter networks and other crossover components. With an inductance of 8.2 mH and a tight ±3% tolerance, it gives DIY builders and speaker designers a clearly specified value for accurate crossover work.
Its drum-core construction keeps the coil compact while maintaining the required inductance value. The H50-8,2 measures Ø26 x H25 mm, making it practical for installation on crossover boards where space is limited. As one of Mundorf’s ferrite/Aronit coils, it combines a defined core type with a taped winding fixation for stable mechanical construction.
The conductor is OFC copper SolidCore wire with a 0.20 mm² cross-section, equivalent to AWG 24 with a 0.50 mm wire diameter. This version has a DC resistance of 1.57 Ω, making it easy to account for series resistance during crossover design or replacement work.
The H50-8,2 uses Mundorf’s F2625 coil body and is specified with a ferrite/Aronit drum core, taped winding fixation and solid-core copper conductor material. It is a suitable choice when you need a compact 8.2 mH inductor with manufacturer-defined electrical and mechanical parameters.
