        The Mundorf BL71-2,7 is part of the MCoil BL AirCore Baked Varnish range, designed for precise use in loudspeaker crossover components. With an inductance of 2.7 mH and a tight ±2% tolerance, it is suitable for crossover designs where predictable component values are essential.


        This model uses an air-core construction, avoiding a magnetic core in the signal path. The baked varnish winding fixation helps keep the winding mechanically stable, making it a practical choice among high-quality crossover coils for DIY and replacement projects.


        The conductor is OFC copper SolidCore wire with a 0.40 mm² cross section, AWG 21 rating and 0.71 mm wire diameter. Its DC resistance is 1.53 Ohm, allowing you to account accurately for series resistance when designing or updating a passive crossover.


        With a compact Ø40 x H20 mm body size, the BL71-2,7 fits neatly onto crossover boards and inside speaker cabinets where space is limited. It combines Mundorf’s established MCoil construction with clear, easy-to-integrate electrical specifications.
