The Mundorf BL100-2,2 is part of the MCoil BL AirCore Baked Varnish range and is designed for precision use in passive crossover components. With an inductance of 2.2 mH and a tight ±2% tolerance, it is well suited for crossover designs where accurate component values are important.
Its air-core construction avoids the use of a magnetic core, while the OFC copper SolidCore conductor provides a defined electrical path. The 0.79 mm² wire cross section corresponds to 18 AWG with a 1.00 mm wire diameter, giving the coil a DC resistance of 0.77 Ohm.
The baked winding fixation helps keep the winding stable and mechanically secured. This makes the BL100-2,2 a practical choice among high-quality coils for DIY loudspeaker crossovers and replacement work in existing filter networks.
With compact dimensions of 58 mm diameter and 22 mm height, this coil can be integrated into a wide range of speaker crossover layouts. The coil body type is L5822, matching the specified dimensions and construction of this Mundorf AirCore Baked Varnish model.
