        Hypex SUBin3-110 Analogue Subwoofer Input Expansion Module

         

        The Hypex SUBin3-110 is designed to add dedicated analogue subwoofer input functionality to DSP3 series systems. It provides both high-level and low-level subwoofer inputs, making it a practical expansion option for DSP-controlled subwoofer designs and active loudspeaker projects.

         

        Integration is handled within the DSP environment using Hypex Filter Design software. This allows external subwoofer signals to be incorporated into DSP-controlled systems without adding extra analogue processing stages, keeping the signal path and system setup streamlined.

         

        The module includes high-level inputs and volume control. Its knob gain adjustment ranges from -12 dB to +12 dB relative to the master volume, while the high-level input uses a typical 34 dB default attenuation setting. The SUBin3-110 is compatible with the DSP3-213, which can be expanded with optional input boards for more flexible system configurations.

         

        The SUBin3-110 is intended for high-end consumer audio, active speakers, PA systems and studio monitors. Available from SoundImports as the only European retailer offering this module, it gives builders working with Hypex amplifier modules and DSP-based active systems a focused way to add analogue subwoofer input capability where it is needed.
