It is designed for use with the Dayton Audio AXIS-8 DSP Controller, providing the measurement capability needed for supported automatic system optimization.

         

        Its versatile 3.5 mm design also makes the CALMIC a practical replacement option for many receivers, processors, amplifiers, and DSP products that use a compatible wired calibration microphone. It is suitable for select compatible products from Dayton Audio, Denon, Marantz, Yamaha, Onkyo, Integra, Pioneer, and other brands; always verify the microphone requirements of your specific model before use.

         

        The generous 4.6-meter cable gives you the reach needed to place the microphone at the primary listening position in a home theater, listening room, or automotive setup. This helps supported calibration systems capture the measurement input required for smoother, more balanced performance.

         

        For flexible positioning, the CALMIC can be used freestanding on its foam padded base or attached to a compatible stand. The soft foam padding helps protect furniture and provides a stable surface when placed directly on a table, shelf, seat, or other surface, while the integrated M6 mounting thread supports secure connection to compatible stands, mounts, and adapters.
