Dayton Audio AXIS-R Wired Remote Controller
The Dayton Audio AXIS-R gives you quick, convenient control over the most frequently used functions of your AXIS-8DSP processor. Once the processor is programmed, the remote lets you adjust system volume, switch between saved presets, and fine-tune subwoofer output without reaching for a computer, phone, or tablet.
For vehicle installations, the AXIS-R keeps essential controls within easy reach of the driver, making it simple to adapt the sound to different music, listening preferences, or driving conditions. It is also practical in home audio systems, where the remote can be positioned near the main listening area for everyday control.
The dedicated subwoofer level adjustment controls channels 7 and 8, allowing quick changes to bass output without changing the full DSP setup. Preset selection is handled directly from the remote, giving instant access to stored tuning profiles for different listening positions, audio sources, or system configurations.
Installation is straightforward thanks to the included 10-foot cable and removable mounting bracket. The AXIS-R can be mounted in a dashboard, center console, under-dash location, on a desk, or near a listening position. If additional cable length is needed, the connection can be extended using a standard RJ45 patch cable.
