Have not heard of Punktkilde yet? ScanSpeak designed the Punktkilde family of transducers, which Eastech manufactures. Punktkilde originated from the Danish word "Point Source", the loudspeaker's ultimate goal of obtaining perfect temporal coherence. The Punktkilde by Eastech speaker aspires to achieve the same purpose as a Point Source speaker, namely, more superb sound quality.

The integration of ScanSpeak's DNA allowed Eastech to trigger down the values of ScanSpeak's Danish design legacy to the Punktkilde series of tweeters and woofers, fulfilling their mission of generating excellent sound and acoustics as our core strength and values.

Punktkilde Speakers

Drivers from Punktkilde are designed by ScanSpeak engineers - the engineers and designers who developed some of the best speakers on the HiFi market also designed the speakers from Punktkilde. The difference here is that ScanSpeak drivers are manufactured in Denmark while Punktkilde speakers are manufactured in China.

Punktkilde AUGWL0010-JN10 4" Carbon Pulp Woofer

Punktkilde's AUGWL0010-JN10 4-inch woofer has a 1-inch voice coil, pulp with carbon fibre cone, and ferrite magnet motor system. This series of drivers use a new mixed-material with pulp and 60% carbon fibre, which increases the stiffness of the cone body and controls the range of internal damping.
