        Visaton K 50 WP - 8 2" Micro Speaker 8 Ohm

         

        The Visaton K 50 WP - 8 is a compact micro speaker designed for reliable sound reproduction in small electronic devices and monitoring applications. Its plastic basket and Mylar diaphragm keep the construction lightweight, while the broad 180 to 17000 Hz frequency response supports clear, intelligible voice output.

         

        With 84 dB sensitivity at 1 W/1 m, 2 W rated power and 3 W maximum power handling, this driver is well suited for compact audio components where space is limited but speech clarity matters. The 8 Ohm nominal impedance makes it a practical choice for many low-power amplifier and device-monitoring designs.

         

        The K 50 WP - 8 is particularly useful in unfavourable ambient conditions, including high humidity. It is weather-resistant, UV-resistant and functional in cold conditions according to EN 60068-2-1/EN 50155, making it suitable for monitoring use in outdoor speaker systems and other protected outdoor installations.

         

        Installation is straightforward with a 46 mm cutout diameter and 2.8 x 0.5 mm positive and negative connections. When built into a sealed enclosure, the front side can achieve IP65 protection, and gluing the loudspeaker plus adding a front grille may be required for the intended protection level.
