        The Visaton K 50 - 8 is a compact 2" micro speaker for voice and signal output in machines, equipment and space-constrained installations.

        Visaton K 50 - 8 2" Micro Speaker 8 Ohm

         

        The Visaton K 50 - 8 is designed for reliable signal and speech reproduction in compact equipment. Its small 2" format, plastic Mylar diaphragm and metal basket make it suitable for use in tightly packed audio components, control units and devices where installation space is limited.

         

        With a rated power of 2 W, 8 Ohm nominal impedance and a frequency response of 250 to 10000 Hz, this micro speaker is well suited to clear voice prompts, warning tones and general signal output. The 83 dB mean sound pressure level at 1 W/1 m supports efficient operation in compact systems.

         

        The K 50 - 8 uses solder lug connections and requires a 45 mm cutout diameter for mounting. It has a 14 mm voice coil, ±0.5 mm excursion limit and a resonance frequency of 500 Hz, giving integrators clear mechanical and electrical parameters for equipment design.

         

        For installations exposed to demanding environments, the front side can achieve IP65 protection when the speaker is built into a sealed enclosure. Gluing the loudspeaker and using a front cover or grille may be necessary. The unit also operates across a temperature range of -40 to 70 °C, making it suitable for indoor and outdoor equipment applications.
