Visaton K 50 - 50 2.0" Micro Speaker 50 Ohm
The Visaton K 50 - 50 is a compact micro speaker designed for clear voice and signal output in machines, devices and installations where space is at a premium. Its 2.0" format, plastic diaphragm and metal basket make it a practical choice for compact audio components and equipment-based sound output.
With a rated power of 2 W, 50 Ohm nominal impedance and a frequency response of 250 to 10000 Hz, this speaker is built for signal tones and speech reproduction rather than high-power audio playback. The mean sound pressure level is 83 dB at 1 W/1 m, and the resonance frequency is 500 Hz.
The K 50 - 50 uses a Mylar plastic diaphragm and connects via solder lugs for secure integration into devices and assemblies. Installation is supported by a 45 mm cutout diameter, while the low 50 g net weight helps keep compact equipment designs lightweight.
For demanding environments, the front side can achieve IP65 protection when built into a sealed enclosure. Depending on the installation, gluing the speaker and using a front cover or grille may be required. The speaker is suitable for indoor and outdoor applications and remains functional in cold conditions according to EN 60068-2-1 and EN 50155.
