        Visaton K 36 WP - 8 1.5" Miniature Speaker 8 Ohm

         

        The Visaton K 36 WP - 8 is a compact micro speaker built with a plastic basket and plastic diaphragm. Its ABS basket and Mylar diaphragm make it suitable for applications where a small, lightweight driver is needed, with a net weight of only 6 g and a 31 mm cutout diameter for installation.

         

        With a frequency response of 300 to 20,000 Hz and a mean sound pressure level of 77 dB at 1 W/1 m, this audio component is focused on clear monitoring and voice reproduction. It handles 1 W rated power and up to 2 W maximum power, with solder joints for straightforward connection.

         

        The K 36 WP - 8 is particularly well suited for monitoring in electronic devices and outdoor systems. When installed in a sealed enclosure, the front side achieves IP65 protection, making it a practical choice for outdoor speakers or compact systems exposed to unfavourable ambient conditions such as high humidity.

         

        This driver is also designed to remain functional in cold conditions according to EN 60068-2-1 and EN 50155. Its temperature range of -40 to 70 °C, 0.5 mm excursion limit, and 10 mm voice coil diameter make it a dependable small speaker for compact monitoring applications.
