        Visaton K 28.40 - 8 1.1 x 1.6" Miniature Speaker 8 Ohm

         

        The Visaton K 28.40 - 8 is a very compact micro speaker built around a paper cone and a rectangular plastic basket. Its small 1.1 x 1.6" format makes it suitable for space-limited audio components where a conventional round driver would be difficult to fit.

         

        A neodymium magnet keeps the overall size low while supporting reliable acoustic performance. The driver offers a frequency response of 230 Hz to 20,000 Hz and a mean sound pressure level of 79 dB at 1 W/1 m, making it a practical miniature speaker for compact sound reproduction.

         

        With an 8 Ohm nominal impedance, 2 W rated power and 3 W maximum power, the K 28.40 - 8 is designed for low-power applications. Its resonance frequency is 450 Hz, and the compact moving system uses a 14 mm voice coil with a 3 mm winding height.

         

        Installation is straightforward thanks to the rear solder lugs and 26 x 37 mm cutout requirement. The speaker weighs only 14 g and operates across a temperature range of -20 °C to 70 °C, supporting use in compact assemblies where low weight and dependable connection points are important.
