The SMSL PL20 is a versatile hi-fi desktop CD player and digital audio hub combining traditional disc playback with modern connectivity and CD-to-digital ripping functionality.

SMSL PL20 Hi-res Audio CD Player

The SMSL PL20 is a compact hi-fidelity CD player tailored for audiophiles and music lovers who want both classic disc playback and seamless integration with modern digital music libraries. It is fitted with dual Cirrus Logic CS43131 DAC chips, delivering refined digital-to-analog conversion for superior sound quality whether you are listening through your stereo system or via headphones.

The PL20 supports traditional CD, CD-R and CD-RW playback, and its standout one-touch CD ripping feature allows you to convert your physical CDs directly to a USB flash drive without a computer. In addition, you can play music files from USB storage, with broad format support including WAV, FLAC, APE and DSD64.

Connectivity is comprehensive, with optical and coaxial digital outputs for integration with external DACs or digital amplifiers, analog RCA outputs for stereo systems, and both 3.5 mm single-ended and 4.4 mm balanced headphone outputs. A bidirectional Bluetooth 5.3 module lets you stream music from smartphones or send audio to wireless headphones or speakers.

Built with a premium CNC-machined aluminum enclosure and high-quality gold-plated terminals, the PL20 is built to last and looks at home in any desktop or audio system setup. Included in the box is a full-function remote control for convenient operation from afar.
