        Senior Paid Ads Specialist

        SoundImports is growing rapidly. In recent years, we have grown from an unknown webshop into the best-rated webshop for DIY audio in Europe. Paid ads are one of our most important growth engines. Through Google Ads, we already generate a large share of our revenue, but we still see a lot of untapped potential in international growth, channel expansion and further optimization for profitability.

        That is why we are looking for a Senior Paid Ads Specialist who will take ownership of our paid growth strategy and help us realize our next growth phase.

        About this role
        As a Senior Paid Ads Specialist, you are responsible for the performance and further development of our paid acquisition channels. Google Ads is your most important channel, but you also look more broadly at opportunities within Microsoft Ads, Meta, TikTok and marketplaces.

        You develop, test and optimize campaigns focused on scalable and profitable growth. You manage not only for revenue or ROAS, but also for margin, return and POAS. You translate data into concrete growth plans, budget recommendations and optimizations.

        In this role, you switch easily between strategy and execution. You can independently build and optimize campaigns, while also being strong in challenging external agencies, presenting learnings and advising the management team on growth opportunities.

        What will you do?

        Take ownership of the performance of our paid acquisition channels, with Google Ads as the main channel;
        Develop scalable international growth strategies and translate them into concrete campaigns, experiments and optimizations;
        Optimize campaigns for revenue, margin, ROAS, POAS and profitability;
        Prepare budget recommendations, forecasts and growth plans based on data and performance;
        Research, test and, where relevant, scale new channels such as Meta, TikTok and marketplaces;
        Challenge external agencies and manage them on performance, priorities and output;
        Identify improvement opportunities in feed management, tracking and landing pages, and implement them together with internal and external specialists;
        Create performance analyses and translate learnings into concrete improvement actions;
        Report on performance, learnings and growth opportunities to the management team.

You think in terms of return, margin and scalability, and you enjoy making an impact within an international e-commerce organization.

        What we consider important

        You have at least 4 years of experience with paid advertising within e-commerce;
        You have strong experience with Google Ads, Shopping and Performance Max;
        You understand how to manage for return, margin, ROAS and/or POAS;
        You can translate data into concrete optimizations, budget recommendations and growth plans;
        You think strategically, but also enjoy building and optimizing campaigns yourself;
        You are critical, proactive and dare to substantively challenge agencies and stakeholders;
        You have a good command of the Dutch and English language;
        You are available 32–38 hours per week;
        You have a growth mindset;
        You live in Groningen or within 45 minutes’ travel time from our location.

        Nice-to-haves:

        Experience with Microsoft Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads or marketplaces;
        Experience with feed management, product feeds or Google Merchant Center;
        Experience with GA4, Looker Studio, tracking or attribution;
        Experience with international e-commerce or multiple European markets.

        What do we offer you?

        Salary scale 9: €3,400 to €4,800 gross per month, depending on your experience;
