SoundImports is growing! In recent years, we have grown from an unknown webshop to the best-rated webshop for DIY audio in Europe. In the coming years, we will continue to further develop our webshop, automation, and digital customer journey. That is why we are looking for a Front-end Developer who is not only strong in front-end development but also wants to develop their skills in backend development. Together, we will build a versatile and future-proof team.

About this role
As a Front-end Developer, you will work on the user experience, performance, and conversion of our webshop. At the same time, you will be given the space and guidance to further develop your backend skills, so that you can be deployed more broadly within our technical and e-commerce goals.

What are you going to do?

• Developing and optimizing the front end of our webshop;
• Improving UX, performance, and conversion (CRO);
• Implementing new features, templates, and UI components;
• Integrating e-commerce tools and external systems;
• Contributing ideas about automation and workflows (e.g., with n8n);
• Testing, analyzing, and continuously improving the entire customer journey.

What's important to us?

• You have experience as a Front-end Developer;
• You have a good knowledge of HTML5, Tailwind CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript (and preferably a modern framework);
• You are interested in further developing your skills in backend development;
• You have an affinity with e-commerce and conversion rate optimization (CRO);
• You think from both a user and business perspective;
• You are available 32-38 hours per week;
• You have a growth mindset;
• You preferably live within 60 km of Groningen.
