The Dayton Audio Car Complete DSP bundle is built around the AXIS-8 digital signal processor, giving you powerful control over a mobile audio system from one compact platform. The AXIS-8 supports line-level RCA input, speaker-level input through the included wiring harness, optical TOSLINK, USB-C digital audio, and Bluetooth 5.0 streaming. With 8 RCA outputs, selectable input attenuation, and Home or Car output voltage modes, this DSP module is flexible enough for factory radio integration, aftermarket sources, and fully active car audio systems.
Using AXIS Control software, you can configure input routing, channel assignment, parametric EQ, crossovers, delay, and bass enhancement functions including Superbass and Dynamic Bass. The setup wizard helps speed up configuration by routing inputs, setting groups, calculating crossovers, and generating channel names based on the connected drivers. The AXIS-8 also stores up to 6 custom presets, making it easy to switch between tuning profiles for different listening positions, sources, or bass preferences.
The included AXIS-R wired remote keeps essential controls within reach after the DSP is programmed. It provides direct access to overall system volume, preset selection, and dedicated subwoofer level adjustment for channels 7 and 8. The supplied 3.05-meter cable allows flexible placement in a dashboard, center console, under-dash position, or other convenient location, and standard RJ45 patch cabling can be used when a custom length is needed.
The CALMIC calibration microphone completes the bundle by providing the measurement input needed for supported automatic room, system, and bass calibration functions. Its standard 3.5 mm wired connection, 4.6-meter cable, foam padded base, and integrated M6 mounting thread make it easy to position at the listening seat for reliable acoustic measurement. Together, the processor, wired control, and calibration microphone create a practical tuning package for precise car audio system setup.
