Its 2.5-inch (63.7 mm) voice coil diameter allows for precise midrange reproduction, while the lightweight fabric dome ensures a delicate yet detailed sound signature. The special coating on the dome improves both durability and acoustic transparency, resulting in clean, natural-sounding mids with smooth transitions at both ends of its frequency range.

         

        This midrange driver employs a FEA-optimized motor system, utilizing a neodymium magnet ring for a powerful magnetic field, a vented and well-damped pole piece, and a rigid rear chamber. This combination guarantees a low resonance frequency and a smooth frequency response from 350 Hz to 10 kHz, which is ideal for seamless integration with other drivers in complex audio systems. The overhung voice coil design helps to minimize distortion, even at higher output levels.
