        NERO NERO-5CCN125D 5” Midrange Loudspeaker

         

        The NERO-5CCN125D is a 5-inch high-efficiency midrange driver engineered for precision and low distortion in professional sound systems and advanced DIY loudspeaker projects. With a powerful neodymium magnet and copper sleeve demodulation ring, it maintains low inductance and minimizes intermodulation distortion. Its pure carbon fiber cone and inverted low-mass surround deliver exceptional midrange clarity. This driver handles 125W AES and up to 250W peak power while achieving up to 99 dB sensitivity (with chamber) at 2.83V/1m.

         

        The robust cast aluminum chassis supports a removable rear chamber, enhancing its flexibility for varied cabinet designs. It incorporates a 38.5 mm voice coil wound with copper-clad aluminum on a fiberglass former, allowing it to perform reliably under high thermal loads. Key technical parameters include a resonant frequency (Fs) of 122 Hz (without chamber), Xmax of 3.2 mm, and a net air volume displacement of 0.59 liters. Its optimized Thiele-Small parameters make it suitable for high-efficiency midrange horn or sealed applications where space and sound pressure level are critical.
