        SB Acoustics SB17NRXC35-8 6" Midrange Woofer

         

        Newly developed Norecx non-resonant poly-coated papyrus fiber cone. Low damping SBR rubber surround with high exertion and resilience. Open structure cast frame for reduced reflections and compression. Aluminum alloy for light weight, non-magnetic and extra rigidity. Shorting copper cap on pole piece. Non-inductive CCAW fiber glass 300mm coil former. Silver lead wires. Vented pole piece.

        I used this driver to replace my damaged old one. I measured TS parameters before installing it into my enclosure. The TS parameters were not acc. to driver spec. yet (e.g. Fs was not 32 Hz as defined, but was 47 Hz). It is OK because driver was not burned in. It will need time. It is important to take it into consideration if you are building a crossover from the meaured not burned in driver.
