        REDCATT AMT2838 1.0" AMT Tweeter 4 Ohm

         

        The REDCATT AMT2838 is an AMT tweeter engineered for ultra-clean, detailed and well-defined mid to high-frequency reproduction. Its smooth working-range response and very low harmonic distortion make it a strong choice for high-performing hi-fi audio systems.

         

        A neodymium magnetic system provides a strong field for the formed diaphragm, contributing to the AMT2838’s controlled output and high 96 dB sensitivity. The diaphragm assembly uses polyimide foils encapsulating an aluminum conductive film, produced with high-precision forming for repeatability and consistent performance from unit to unit.

         

        With its compact plastic basket and integrated waveguide, the AMT2838 is easy to incorporate into premium audio components and custom loudspeaker projects. It is especially well suited for premium hi-fi 2-way systems, studio monitors and audiophile bookshelf speakers.

         

        The tweeter has a rated impedance of 4 Ohm and a resonant frequency of 2200 Hz. Practical design details include four mounting holes, a mounting depth of 27.10 mm from flange to rear and a net weight of 0.22 kg, making it a compact high-frequency driver for refined speaker builds.
