REDCATT 35FRX4 3.5" Full-Range Woofer 4 Ohm
The REDCATT 35FRX4 is built as a compact full-range woofer for applications where size, performance and cost efficiency all matter. Its ferrite magnet system, steel basket and paper cone create a balanced driver platform with useful low-frequency reach and high-frequency extension for wideband reproduction.
With a resonant frequency of 67 Hz, 83.70 dB sensitivity and a Qts of 0.340, the 35FRX4 is well suited to small speaker systems. It can be used in sealed enclosures, compact column designs, 1-way speakers or 2-way portable products, and can also be paired with a passive radiator to extend low-frequency output further.
The motor and voice coil construction are designed for reliable power handling. A 25.4 mm copper voice coil is wound directly on an aluminum former using high-temperature wire, helping the driver handle 25 W AES, 50 W continuous and 100 W peak power while maintaining thermal stability during demanding use.
For compact DIY and OEM audio components projects, the 35FRX4 offers practical mounting dimensions with an 85 mm baffle cutout, 51 mm mounting depth and four mounting holes. Bass reflex alignments around 1 liter are possible, including tunings for higher mid-bass output, balanced general-purpose use or deeper low-frequency extension with suitable high-pass protection.
