The REDCATT 252TN is a compact dome tweeter built around a natural fiber silk dome and an advanced neodymium-based magnetic circuit. Its lightweight construction, plastic basket and compact 69.80 mm overall diameter make it well suited for space-conscious loudspeaker projects without compromising high-frequency capability.
A finely tuned Helmholtz resonant chamber helps the 252TN achieve a low 850 Hz resonant frequency. This gives designers more freedom when choosing the crossover point, making it a practical high-frequency driver for refined 2-way systems and other compact tweeters applications.
With 93 dB sensitivity, 4 ohm rated impedance and power handling of 10 W AES, 20 W continuous and 40 W peak, the 252TN delivers strong performance for its size. The aluminum former, CCAW winding wire and 1.6 mm winding height contribute to a focused design intended for efficient, reliable high-frequency reproduction.
