REDCATT 22NFR 2" Full-Range Woofer 8 Ohm
The REDCATT 22NFR is built for applications where a compact full-range woofer is required to cover a wide frequency range from a single unit. With 85.04 dB sensitivity, a resonant frequency of 255 Hz and 8 ohm impedance, it is suited to small-format loudspeaker designs where efficiency, size and bandwidth all matter.
Its neodymium slug and U-cup steel magnetic circuit deliver capable performance while keeping the driver light and cost-effective. The paper cone, rubber surround and Conex spider are designed for stable movement, while the 25.4 mm CCAW voice coil on a Kapton former supports reliable operation in compact woofers and full-range systems.
The 22NFR is especially practical for column speakers, TV bars, arrays, portable products and multi-way systems. The steel basket includes a full front flange for improved chassis rigidity, and the driver can be mounted from either the front or rear of the baffle for flexible installation.
For enclosure design, REDCATT recommends sealed alignments around 0.05 liters, including a Qtc 0.707 Butterworth alignment for a maximally flat response and a system resonance of approximately 411 Hz. Key installation dimensions include a 52 mm baffle cutout, 35.50 mm mounting depth, four mounting holes and a low net weight of 0.12 kg.
