The REDCATT 202N-GL is built for premium professional high-frequency reproduction. As a specialist compression driver for demanding audio components projects, it combines a precision-formed glass dome with a neodymium motor to deliver high sensitivity, controlled behaviour and extended output across the working band.
Its glass diaphragm is designed to offer metal-like stiffness while retaining natural internal damping. This helps keep breakup out of the audible working range, giving this tweeter a smooth and controlled response from 1 kHz to 20 kHz. The 3.0" copper-clad aluminium ribbon voice coil uses a kapton former, supported by a PEI surround for reliable high-frequency performance.
With 109.5 dB sensitivity and power handling of 70 W AES, 140 W continuous and 280 W peak, the 202N-GL is suited to high-output systems where clarity and headroom matter. It is a strong choice for premium two-way PA tops, touring and install systems, theatre sound and professional speakers requiring clean, extended HF reproduction.
The compact assembly measures 58 mm deep from flange to rear and weighs 1.9 kg, making it practical for high-performance cabinet designs. A 102 mm bolt circle, four mounting holes and 35 mm horn exit support integration with compatible horns, including 1.4" horn applications that demand ultra-smooth extended high frequencies.
