REDCATT 202FCD 3.0" Titanium Compression Driver 8 Ohm
The REDCATT 202FCD is built for high-frequency performance in professional speakers, including 2-way and multi-way systems. Its ferrite-based magnetic circuit provides a strong BL field for precise control of the pure titanium diaphragm assembly, helping the driver deliver clean output at high sound pressure levels.
The titanium dome is bonded to a polyimide surround, a design that improves control of the dome’s pistonic motion and supports a more accurate transient response. With 108 dB sensitivity and a resonant frequency of 500 Hz, the 202FCD is well suited to efficient tweeter sections in demanding PA and installation designs.
Power handling is specified at 100 W AES, 200 W continuous and 400 W peak, giving this compression driver the capacity needed for professional mid-high cabinets. The 1.4" exit throat makes it suitable for use with compatible horn systems in long-throw and high-output applications.
Practical installation details include a 170 mm overall diameter, 102 mm bolt circle diameter, four mounting holes and a 70.8 mm flange-to-rear depth. With its affordable performance-focused design, the 202FCD is a strong choice for PA tops, install line arrays and touring mid-high loudspeaker projects.
