REDCATT 18FIND 18" Subwoofer 8 Ohm
The REDCATT 18FIND is built for professional low-frequency applications where output, efficiency, and control are essential. As a high-excursion subwoofer, it combines a lightweight glass fiber loaded paper cone with a triple roll constant geometry surround, giving it the strength and excursion capability needed for vented subwoofer systems and touring bass bins.
With 97.24 dB sensitivity, an Fs of 36 Hz, and a strong 23.60 T·m BL factor, the 18FIND is engineered for efficient bass reproduction with low harmonic distortion. The ferrite motor structure, aluminum basket, and optimized venting system help make it a robust choice among professional woofers for high-output sound reinforcement designs.
The 101.6 mm copper voice coil uses a glass fiber former and is designed to withstand peak temperatures above 250 °C. Combined with a Nomex spider and REDCATT’s silicone spider design, the driver is made for long-term consistency under demanding power conditions, with 1000 W AES power handling, 2000 W continuous power, and 4000 W peak power.
For integration into professional speaker systems and custom audio components, the 18FIND offers practical enclosure options. Recommended bass reflex alignments include 130 liters tuned to 41 Hz for strong mid-bass output, 155 liters tuned to 38 Hz for a balanced general-purpose setup, or 180 liters tuned to 34 Hz for deeper extension with high-pass filter protection.
