REDCATT 183FIND 18" Subwoofer 8 Ohm
The REDCATT 183FIND is built as a cost-effective professional woofer for demanding low-frequency use. Its optimized ferrite magnetic structure works with a lightweight yet strong paper cone to deliver high efficiency and solid sound pressure, making it suitable for powerful bass systems where budget and output both matter.
With 600 W AES power handling, 1200 W continuous power and 2400 W peak power, the 183FIND is ready for high-output subwoofer systems. The 97.07 dB sensitivity and 32 Hz resonant frequency support strong low-frequency performance, while the 8 ohm impedance makes integration straightforward in many professional amplifier setups.
The voice coil uses a composite Polyimide former capable of withstanding peak temperatures above 280 °C, combined with high-temperature copper winding wire for durability. The treated cone helps resist harsh environments and high humidity, while coated metal parts add weatherization protection for demanding speaker builds and professional use.
For bass reflex designs, REDCATT recommends several enclosure alignments: 215 liters tuned to 37 Hz for high output and strong mid-bass, 250 liters tuned to 34 Hz for a balanced general-purpose response, or 275 liters tuned to 30 Hz for extended low-frequency performance with high-pass filter protection.
