The REDCATT 15NPW is a high-efficiency 15" 8 ohm professional subwoofer built for high power handling, strong low-frequency output and robust performance in demanding vented cabinet designs.
REDCATT 15NPW 15" Subwoofer 8 Ohm
The REDCATT 15NPW is designed as a professional 15" woofer for high-output low-frequency systems. With a neodymium motor, aluminum basket and 97.34 dB sensitivity, it delivers strong efficiency while keeping the net weight to 8.50 kg, making it suitable for weight-conscious installs and touring applications.
Its carbon fiber loaded paper cone is paired with a high-excursion triple roll constant geometry surround, giving the driver both strength and controlled movement. The double silicone sealed spider and treated cone assembly help the 15NPW perform reliably in outdoor or high-humidity conditions, while coated metal parts add extra weatherization protection.
Power handling is a major strength of this subwoofer. The 15NPW handles 1200 W AES, 2400 W continuous and up to 4800 W peak power, with a copper winding and glass fiber former designed for demanding professional audio systems. Key parameters include an Fs of 40 Hz, Qts of 0.270, Vas of 107 liters, Bl of 28.30 T·m and 5.75 mm peak Xmax.
For audio components projects that need a vented low-frequency section, REDCATT recommends bass reflex alignments of 110 liters tuned to 40 Hz for high output and strong mid-bass, 130 liters tuned to 35 Hz for balanced general-purpose use, or 150 liters tuned to 31 Hz for extended low-frequency output with suitable high-pass protection.
