        The REDCATT 152FINDX8 is a high-efficiency 15" subwoofer with an 8 Ohm impedance, 800 W AES power handling, extended low-frequency response and a rugged ferrite motor design for professional bass applications.

        REDCATT 152FINDX8 15" Ferrite Subwoofer 8 Ohm

         

        The REDCATT 152FINDX8 is built for demanding woofer projects where high output, controlled excursion and strong low-frequency performance are required. With a resonant frequency of 37 Hz, 95.62 dB sensitivity and a lightweight carbon fiber loaded paper cone, it delivers efficient bass performance for professional audio components and custom loudspeaker builds.

         

        The moving assembly combines a carbon fiber reinforced cone with a high-excursion NBR rubber surround. This construction improves low-frequency response while maintaining control at higher excursion levels. The cone is treated for use in harsh environments and high humidity, while coated metal parts add extra weatherization protection for outdoor and touring applications.

         

        Power handling is a key strength of the 152FINDX8. Its 76 mm voice coil uses CCAW winding wire and a glass fiber former, with the voice coil technology designed to withstand peak temperatures above 280 °C. The driver handles 800 W AES, 1600 W continuous and 3200 W peak power, making it suitable for a vented subwoofer, PA bass bin or touring sub cabinet.

         

        For bass reflex cabinet designs, REDCATT recommends several alignments: 75 liters tuned to 43 Hz for high output and strong mid-bass, 85 liters tuned to 39 Hz for a balanced general-purpose response, or 100 liters tuned to 35 Hz for extended low-frequency performance with high-pass filter protection. Installation dimensions include a 392 mm overall frame size, 360 mm baffle cutout, 143 mm mounting depth and 8 mounting holes.
