        REDCATT 121FINDX4 12" Ferrite Paper Bass-Mid Woofer 4 Ohm

        The REDCATT 121FINDX4 is designed as a high-efficiency bass-mid woofer for professional loudspeaker engineering. With 96.40 dB sensitivity and a linear frequency response, it is well suited to 2-way systems where clear midrange output and usable low-frequency extension are both required.


        Its construction combines a ferrite magnet, steel basket and 50.8 mm CCAW voice coil on a glass fiber former. The lightweight paper GF cone is controlled by an “M” shaped fabric surround, while the Nomex spider supports pistonic behavior and long-term mechanical stability. Treated cone materials and coated metal parts help the driver withstand high humidity and harsh environments.


        For woofers used in bass reflex cabinets, the 121FINDX4 offers several practical enclosure alignments. A 35 liter cabinet tuned to 62 Hz is the balanced general-purpose recommendation, with an approximate -3 dB point of 57 Hz and a 52 Hz high-pass filter. Alternatives include 30 liters tuned to 68 Hz for strong mid-bass output or 40 liters tuned to 56 Hz for extended low-frequency response with suitable high-pass protection.


        The driver’s key parameters include Fs of 59.00 Hz, Qts of 0.520, Vas of 59.10 liters and Re of 3.10 ohms. Installation dimensions include a 282.00 mm baffle cutout, 302.00 mm bolt circle, 124.00 mm mounting depth and 8 mounting holes, making it a practical choice for custom professional audio components and weather-resistant speaker cabinet projects.
