REDCATT 10FHWX4 10" Aluminum Cone Subwoofer 4 Ohm
The REDCATT 10FHWX4 is a professional 10" subwoofer engineered for extended low-frequency output and high power handling. With a resonant frequency of 25 Hz, 86.5 dB sensitivity and a strong aluminum cone assembly, it is well suited to bass-focused loudspeaker designs where control, output and durability matter.
The driver uses an aluminum basket, aluminum cone, single-roll NBR rubber surround and Nomex spider with stitched-on tinsel wires. This construction is designed to maintain strength and stability under demanding use, making the 10FHWX4 a robust choice among performance-oriented woofers for compact low-frequency systems.
Its ferrite magnetic circuit is developed for consistent magnetic flux, low distortion and efficient cooling. Two integrated aluminum shorting rings help reduce flux modulation, improving stability and supporting clean bass reproduction at higher output levels.
For bass reflex enclosures, REDCATT recommends 40 liters tuned to 29 Hz for high output and strong mid-bass, 45 liters tuned to 26 Hz for a balanced general-purpose alignment, or 50 liters tuned to 24 Hz for deeper low-frequency extension. The 10FHWX4 can be used in vented or sealed PA bass-mid applications, with sub assist below 80 Hz recommended.
