        The REDCATT 101NPM is a lightweight 10" bass-mid woofer with an 8 ohm impedance, high 94.56 dB sensitivity, neodymium motor technology and 150 W AES power handling for efficient professional loudspeaker designs.

        REDCATT 101NPM 10" Bass-Mid Woofer 8 Ohm

         

        The REDCATT 101NPM is built for efficient, weight-conscious professional loudspeaker projects. As a 10" bass-mid woofer, it combines a lightweight cone assembly with a neodymium motor to deliver high output while keeping total driver weight to just 1.97 kg.

         

        Performance is centred around a 94.56 dB sensitivity rating, 53 Hz resonant frequency and 150 W AES power handling. The 50.8 mm voice coil uses a glass fiber former, while the magnetic circuit includes two aluminium shorting rings to reduce flux modulation and support low distortion operation in demanding woofers and PA designs.

         

        The carbon fiber loaded paper cone and high-excursion triple roll fabric surround provide a strong, lightweight moving system. With an Sd of 363 cm², 3.25 mm peak Xmax and 11.25 mm Xmech, the 101NPM is well suited to bass-mid duties where controlled excursion and clean mid-bass output are important.

         

        For enclosure design, the 101NPM works in sealed or vented speaker systems, with bass reflex recommendations including 25 liters tuned to 56 Hz for a balanced general-purpose alignment. A 30 liter enclosure tuned to 50 Hz offers deeper extension, while sub assist below 80 Hz is recommended for applications that need stronger low-frequency support.
