        The REDCATT 101FCD is a compact 1.0" ferrite compression driver for professional high-frequency loudspeaker applications, combining 109 dB sensitivity with 20 W AES, 40 W continuous and 80 W peak power handling.

        REDCATT 101FCD 1.0" Compression Driver 8 Ohm

         

        The REDCATT 101FCD is a high-frequency compression driver designed for compact professional loudspeaker systems. As a performance-focused choice for professional audio components, it delivers high SPL capability, high power handling and a space-efficient form factor for demanding builds.

         

        Its ferrite-based magnetic circuit provides controlled operation of the polyimide diaphragm assembly, while the 1.0" exit supports extended high-frequency response. The diaphragm is attached to a high-temperature Nomex voice coil former, helping the driver withstand the long-term power demands commonly found in professional audio applications.

         

        With 109 dB sensitivity, 8 ohm impedance and a 2000 Hz resonant frequency, the 101FCD is well suited for efficient HF sections in horn/waveguide tweeter applications. Power handling is specified at 20 W AES, 40 W continuous and 80 W peak, giving system designers useful headroom in compact PA and installation designs.

         

        The 101FCD has a 102.5 mm overall diameter, 76 mm bolt circle, two mounting holes and a 57.7 mm flange-to-rear depth. At 0.91 kg, it is practical for portable column PA, 2-way PA tops and commercial install speaker systems where a compact, high-output HF driver is required.
