The Radian LT6 is a high-frequency planar ribbon transducer designed to deliver exceptional sonic performance with advanced materials and engineering. The Radian LT6 is engineered for high-fidelity performance, featuring a 6-inch (156 mm) planar ribbon design that combines advanced neodymium magnet technology and a resilient Kapton diaphragm. This construction results in an extremely smooth frequency response from 1.2 kHz to 30 kHz, ensuring that even the most demanding audio applications are met with pristine clarity and low distortion. The closed-back configuration is standard, but an optional open-back (dipole) configuration is available for custom installations.
With a rated impedance of 9 ohms and a robust power handling capability—40 W AES, 80 W long-term IEC, and 150 W short-term IEC—the LT6 is suitable for integration into a variety of tweeters and high-frequency modules. The unit's high sensitivity, reaching up to 103 dB when paired with a constant directivity waveguide, makes it ideal for both passive and active crossover designs, particularly in speakers and line array systems where efficiency is paramount.
This transducer stands out with its wide and even horizontal dispersion of 100 degrees and a 40-degree vertical coverage, providing an expansive soundstage and precise imaging.
