        Radian LM10n Wide Band Planar Ribbon Driver

         

        The Radian LM10n stands out with its innovative design featuring a symmetric push-pull magnetic structure, optimized using finite element analysis for maximum efficiency and minimal distortion. The use of high MGO neodymium magnets ensures an even magnetic flux distribution, while the advanced high-temperature stabilized polymer diaphragm delivers extremely linear operation over a broad dynamic range. This unique construction results in a predominantly resistive impedance with negligible inductive component, significantly minimizing intermodulation distortion and enhancing audio purity.

         

        Performance is at the core of the LM10n, with a sensitivity of 94 dB and an effective frequency range from 120 Hz to 20 kHz. The driver is capable of handling up to 70 W AES and 200 W short-term maximum power, making it suitable for both moderate and high-output systems. Its flat conductor pattern, evenly distributed across the diaphragm, provides textbook constant directivity in the horizontal plane, achieving a wide 120-degree horizontal and 30-degree vertical coverage. This makes the LM10n a compelling choice for speakers designed for both home and professional use.

         

        Compatibility and application flexibility are key advantages of the LM10n. It is optimized for line array setups, maximizing the active radiating area relative to driver height, and can be paired seamlessly with Radian LT3 or LT2 tweeters for extended high-frequency performance. The LM10n supports both open-back/dipole and closed-back configurations, delivering either a spacious, three-dimensional soundstage or a more focused, immediate presentation depending on enclosure design.
