        The Radian Audio 1228-8 is an 8 ohm replacement diaphragm for many Altec 25.4 mm exit compression drivers, using an aluminum alloy dome with a Mylar surround and a 44.5 mm voice coil.

        Radian Audio 1228-8 Replacement Diaphragm for Most Altec 25.4 mm Exit 8 Ohm Compression Drivers

         

        The Radian Audio 1228-8 is made for restoring compatible Altec 25.4 mm exit compression drivers. It is a practical choice for speaker repair work where the original diaphragm needs to be replaced while keeping the driver platform in service.

         

        This replacement diaphragm uses a 44.5 mm voice coil combined with an aluminum alloy dome and Mylar surround. The construction is suited to high-frequency compression-driver applications commonly found in horn-loaded horn waveguide tweeter systems.
