PURIFI EVAL10 Deluxe Mono 1ET7040SA Evaluation Kit
The PURIFI EVAL10 is designed for evaluating and integrating the 1ET7040SA in mono, single-ended amplifier applications. The kit consists of one 1ET7040SA amplifier module, a mono FE07 front-end board and a cable set, giving builders a practical platform for testing the module before or during integration into custom amplifier projects.
The FE07 front-end board provides the essential connections and control features needed to operate the module. It includes a balanced XLR analog input, a banana-plug speaker connector, solder pads for an additional speaker connector such as SpeakON, connectors for enabling and disabling operation, and connectors for a shared power supply. For users working with high-performance amplifier modules, this makes setup clean and accessible.
Performance-focused circuitry is built into the front-end board, including an ultra-low-noise and low-THD pre-gain stage with four gain settings using PURIFI’s FET-input discrete op-amp. Ultra-low-noise linear voltage regulators supply the op-amps, while status LEDs and pin headers provide access to functions such as I2C and status information.
The EVAL10 operates from ±32 V to ±70 V VP, 15 V VDR and ±18 V VUNREG supplies. Although the 1ET7040SA has very low idle losses and high overall efficiency, proper cooling is essential for sustained power delivery. Mounting the kit to a suitable heatsink, such as a well-designed aluminium chassis, is recommended for reliable high-power operation in DIY amplifier kits and custom builds.
