        PRV Audio DT175Ph-S Professional Compression Driver

         

        The PRV Audio DT175Ph-S is a 1” exit compression driver featuring a phenolic diaphragm, engineered for reliability and smooth sound in demanding audio environments. With an 8-ohm nominal impedance, 75 Watts RMS power handling (150 Watts program), and a sensitivity of 108 dB (measured at 2.83V/1m), this driver delivers excellent efficiency and output. The voice coil is made with CCAW (Copper-Clad Aluminum Wire) wound on a Kapton® former, ensuring high thermal stability and reduced distortion.

         

        Designed for full-range applications, the DT175Ph-S offers a frequency response from 1,300 Hz to 19,000 Hz, with a recommended crossover point of 3,000 Hz at 12 dB/octave. Its ferrite magnet provides a flux density of 1.02 T, enhancing transient response and clarity. The compact design, with an overall diameter of 3.31” (84 mm) and depth of 2.60” (66 mm), makes it suitable for space-constrained cabinets, while the 1-3/8” 18 TPI mounting thread ensures compatibility with standard horn flares.

         

        To support long-term reliability and easy maintenance, we offer a matching replacement diaphragm. The PRV Audio RPDT175Ph Replacement Diaphragm allows quick restoration of original performance and extending the service life of the compression driver.
