        PRV Audio D3220Ph Compression Driver

         

        The PRV Audio D3220Ph is engineered for audio professionals seeking powerful performance and long-lasting reliability. Featuring a large 3" CCAW voice coil mounted on a heat-resistant Kapton® former, this driver ensures high efficiency and minimal distortion, even under continuous high power. With a 2" (50 mm) exit throat and 8-ohm impedance, the D3220Ph is compatible with a wide range of horns and crossover configurations.

         

        It delivers 150 watts RMS and peaks at 600 watts, making it suitable for large venue sound reinforcement systems. The phenolic diaphragm provides smooth, natural response across its wide usable frequency range of 650 Hz to 7,500 Hz. Recommended to be used with an 800 Hz, 12 dB/oct high-pass crossover, the D3220Ph ensures durability and optimal performance when integrated into full-range systems.

         

        Its rugged ferrite magnet assembly produces a flux density of 1.77 T, while the overall compact design (145 mm diameter, 76 mm depth) allows easy installation. Weighing just 4 kg, this driver strikes a balance between portability and robust build quality. Whether you're designing a new PA system or upgrading existing gear, the D3220Ph is built to deliver clean mids and articulate highs in even the most demanding environments.

         

        To support long-term reliability and easy maintenance, we offer a matching replacement diaphragm. The PRV Audio RPD3220Ph Replacement Diaphragm allows quick restoration of original performance and extending the service life of the compression driver.
