        PRV Audio D250Ti-B Professional Compression Driver

         

        The PRV Audio D250Ti-B is engineered for performance in professional loudspeaker applications, replacing or upgrading existing compression drivers in DJ, PA, and monitoring systems. This driver features a 1" exit throat and an 8 Ohm impedance, making it compatible with standard high frequency horn designs. It delivers a high sensitivity of 106 dB at 2.83 V/1 m, allowing efficient sound output with less amplifier power required.

         

        The driver uses a 1.4" copper‑clad aluminum voice coil wound on a Kapton former, coupled with a high‑grade titanium diaphragm, to provide precise and dynamic high frequency response. Its power handling supports 50 Watts nominal and up to 100 Watts continuous program, with peak power capability reaching 200 Watts for transient peaks in musical material.

         

        Designed for clarity and durability, the D250Ti-B covers a frequency range from approximately 1,800 Hz to 20,000 Hz with recommended high pass crossover at around 2,000 Hz. The construction and materials ensure reliable performance in demanding sound reinforcement environments, making it suitable for both custom builds and professional installations.
