        The PRV Audio D175Py-S-Nd is a compact professional 1" compression driver with a neodymium magnet, high sensitivity and strong power handling for demanding high-frequency applications.

        PRV Audio D175Py-S-Nd 1" Compression Driver 8 ohms

        The PRV Audio D175Py-S-Nd is designed as a professional compression driver for high-output loudspeaker systems. It combines a 1" exit throat with a 1" voice coil, 8 ohm nominal impedance and 109 dB sensitivity, making it a strong choice for efficient high-frequency reproduction.


        Power handling is rated at 75 watts nominal, 150 watts continuous program power and 300 watts peak power. For full power handling, PRV Audio recommends a 1200 Hz high-pass crossover with a 12 dB/octave slope. The frequency response is specified from 1,200 Hz to 20,000 Hz at -10 dB.


        The driver uses a polyimide diaphragm, CCAW voice coil wire and a Kapton voice coil former. Its neodymium magnet keeps the unit compact while delivering a flux density of 1.75 T, supporting high output from a lightweight motor structure in professional speaker designs.


        Mechanical specifications include a 60 mm overall diameter, 52.5 mm overall depth and a 1 3/8" 18 TPI mounting thread. Net weight is 0.3 kg, shipping weight is 0.35 kg and the carton dimensions are 65 x 65 x 60 mm.
